AD5 Digital Skills — DigComp 2.2 MCQ Practice

AD5 Digital Skills — DigComp 2.2 MCQ Practice

The EPSO AD5 Generalist competition includes a Digital Skills test (as stated in the Notice of Competition ), structured around the DigComp 2.2 framework (The Digital Competence Framework for Citizens). This practice pack gives you structured, topic-by-topic coverage of that framework — so you know exactly what you’ve covered and what you haven’t.

210 questions across 21 quizzes, each mapped to a specific DigComp 2.2 competence area and sub-competence. Instead of working through random question sets, you can practise the exact areas where you feel least confident — and track your progress by topic.

Every question is written in an applied, workplace-style format: a realistic scenario, four plausible options, and one clearly best answer. The style is informed by EPSO’s published sample questions — judgement-based, not knowledge trivia. Each answer includes a full explanation of why the correct option is right and why each distractor falls short.

What We Know — and How This Pack Is Built

The AD5 2026 competition is the first to include a Digital Skills test, so no preparation material — including this one — can guarantee it matches the exact format or difficulty of what EPSO will use. What is stated in the Notice of Competition is that the test is grounded in DigComp 2.2. That framework is the basis for everything here.

The questions are written as applied workplace scenarios — not IT trivia — and are intentionally demanding. Many go beyond basic digital literacy. The goal is to prepare you for a harder version of the test than you will likely face, so that on the day, nothing feels unfamiliar. The pack covers all five DigComp 2.2 competence areas: Information & Data Literacy, Communication & Collaboration, Digital Content Creation, Safety, and Problem Solving.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this really based on DigComp 2.2?

Yes. Every quiz maps to a specific DigComp 2.2 competence area and sub-competence.
The structure follows the framework directly — not a loose interpretation of it —
so your practice mirrors the same logic the test is built around.

Will these exact question types appear in the real test?

We don’t know EPSO’s exact question format for the 2026 competition — EPSO hasn’t published it in full.
What we do know is that the test is grounded in DigComp 2.2, and these questions are designed
to develop the same applied judgement that framework targets. We’d rather tell you that honestly
than promise something we can’t verify.

Is it too technical? Do I need an IT background?

No. The focus is applied digital judgement using everyday tools: search and filtering,
email and collaboration, file and content handling, security awareness, and troubleshooting.
No coding, no specialist IT knowledge required.

How is this different from generic online MCQs?

Generic MCQs test recall of terms and definitions. These questions are written for
selection-test logic: four realistic options, one clearly best answer, with distractors
designed to expose the reasoning traps EPSO-style questions typically use.
Every answer includes a full explanation — not just the correct letter.

How long do I have access?

Access is valid until 31 December 2026 — covering the full AD5 2026 competition cycle.

Who is this for?

AD5 Generalist candidates who want structured, topic-by-topic DigComp practice
and realistic judgement-based questions — particularly those who feel the Digital Skills
component is unpredictable or hard to prepare for with generic study materials.

Is Prepari affiliated with EPSO or EU institutions?

No. Prepari.eu is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with
EPSO or any EU institution. “EPSO” and “AD5” are used for descriptive purposes only.
